It is very important to keep your property's exterior render in good condition, any damaged or cracked plaster on the exterior of your property can let the elements through and cause fundamental damage to the brick work.
Most interior plastering work is over skimming, where we apply a thin coat of about 4/5mm of plaster to your walls or ceiling, this makes the walls flat creating a good surface, ready for painting or papering.
We started this project from start to finish, the customer wanted to change the old garage into a habitable living space with a shower and toilet area. As you can see from the project pictures, we done just that!
We removed all the old decking from the rear garden, ready for the new decking frame to be constructed. Once the frame was completed we supplied and fitted all new decking panels to the frame, strewing them down. This was a very big job to do, as we had to copy the old frame and extend around the side of the property. We also constructed a 6ft wall that ran down the side of the property, that we rendered and also had lights built into the wall, this gave the garden a fantastic modern look that my customer was looking for! We have more pictures on this job, please take a look at my photo gallery.
We removed the old patio and base. Once this was completed we laid down building sand and a membrane to prevent any vegetation growing through. We knocked up a dry mix base for the new patio to be laid. This job was not as easy as it sounds as my customer wanted me to follow a specific pattern. Once this was completed and my customer was happy, it was time to fill the joint in with cement.
